Dr. Pierson is trained in a variety of psychological assessments and has specialized expertise in forensic psychological assessment through her doctoral training at Fordham University.

Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation
Depending on the referral question, this evaluation may include the assessment of cognitive and intellectual functioning, memory, personality, risk of violence towards self and/or others, malingering, and social/emotional/behavioral issues.

Psycho-diagnostic Assessment
A psycho-diagnostic evaluation helps to clarify a client's mental health functioning and aids in treatment planning.

Competency to Stand Trial
This evaluation aids the court in determining whether the client is currently capable of comprehending their legal proceedings and assisting their attorney in their defense.

Suicide and Violence Risk Assessment
Referral questions may include but are not limited to:
-suicide risk assessment
-risk for future problematic sexual behavior
-risk for future violence
-risk for sexualized violence
